I am proud to be a Registered Dental Hygienist for the past 40 years. (Yikes! that makes me sound old!)
I could write a book on my career and the amazing trajectory I have been on.
My most gratifying accomplishment is when I opened the door to Smile Sensations Independent Dental Hygiene Clinic in 2008 where I was blessed to be able to build a successful dental hygiene business over the past 14 years. As a trail blazer I am proud to have been part of the independent practice movement and pay it forward for future generations.
As an oral health care practitioner I practice the “whole body” approach from clinical awareness and scientific study; what happens in the mouth is reflected in the body, and what happens in the body is reflected in the mouth.
Anyone who knows me well, knows that I have a thirst for knowledge and how much I enjoy attending conferences and taking courses to stay current with the science when it comes to the connections within the human body.
